Example of tuning: 940

Recipe:
A 531 header (STAGE 5) with 48/40 valves, special camshaft only sold together with STAGE 5 header.
Engine block: New from factory, B230 turbo 1992.
Bore: 97mm.
Stroke: Original 80mm.
Volume: 2364cc.
Rods: Steel, modified length.
Crankshaft: Balanced seperately and pinned with the flywheel.
Flywheel: Lightened about 5kg.
Transmission: Twin plate clutch with sinter-plates.
Ignition and injection: Hestec. Doublespark without distributor.

The machine pulls evenly strong from 0 rpm up to well over 8500 rpm!

Sample values: Already at 3000 rpm - torque is 26,5kpm /111Hp. At 5100 rpm an increase to 27.8kpm/197Hp and max torque was measured at 6300 rpm 29kpm/255Hp. (in his previous engine max torque was 32kpm/261Hp therefore we lowered the torque to get more Hp). Max power at 7240 rpm was 26kpm/278Hp!!
